First of all baby Sebastian loves it, which is one of the most important aspects! 

We currently have the bassinet installed, but the infant/toddler seat is amazing as well (see picture below). 

This stroller comes in 5 colors:

Denim Blue, Granite (the one we have), Twilight, Charcoal, and Radiant Orchid. 

The kangaroo is designed to be used from birth to toddler. The Kangaroo has a smooth and versatile chassis design with no screws or welding to join the parts. Designed with a sleek streamlined frame to prevent damage and avoid the issues that normally occur with welded frames. Carefully crafted with high grade polished aviation aluminium; to prevent corrosion and rusting. Our polished Aviation Aluminum gives the look of a chrome finish for added style. The wheels have a swivel mechanism enhanced with a shock absorbing technology; to ensure smooth and comfortable rides.

This beautiful dress is from Bae The Label and I love it because it’s so versatile! I could use it while pregnant and now postpartum. It’s called Hopes And Dreams Dress. I absolutely loved all the pieces I got from them. Will be posting more soon. The quality is truly superb and so fashionable. Prenatal Clases: Comfort Measures for Labor and Birth and The Gift of Motherhood - Florida Hospital

Continuing with my Maternity and Delivery series, here I share my experience with the Prenatal  classes we took at Florida Hospital.



After taking these prenatal classes I truly believe they are imperative for parents-to-be, as well as parents. The classes we took were "Comfort Measures for Labor and Birth" and "The Gift of Motherhood". Both of these classes provided an immense amount of knowledge and understanding which is totally crucial for this journey.

Speaking from experience, parents-to-be usually receive lots of advise from family and friends in regards to baby topics. However, prenatal classes will always give you the most accurate and up to date information available. We truly learned great techniques and found answers to questions we had about maternity and labor topics.

I also loved the convenience of the different class locations offered by Florida Hospital. In our case, we went to two different locations (Comfort Measures for Labor and Birth - Florida Hospital Celebration and The Gift of Motherhood - Florida Hospital Winter Park) in order to accommodate our schedules.

Overall, we are so glad we were able to attend these classes and totally recommend checking them out! They also have so many other great classes to choose from. Check out the full list HERE!

Comfort Measures for Labor and Birth

A certified childbirth educator, will teach you and your support person comfort measures and relaxation techniques to help you during your labor and birth. Topics covered include relaxation, breathing excercises, birthing balls and massage. A basic knowledge of Prepared Childbirth education is essential to getting the most out of these techiniques. It is highly recommended that you attend a childbirth education class Before or After taking this course. Be advised that this course covers comfort measures and relaxation techniques only. It does not cover the labor and delivery process.

The Gift of Motherhood One Day Childbirth Class

This class is designed to meet the unique educational needs of our expectant moms, this highly informative one day class will prepare you for your baby's arrival. The class will cover what every mommy-to-be should know about the last trimester of pregnancy, labor and birth, and postpartum. Topics include:

Third trimester discomforts
Pre-labor signs
Stages of Labor and birth
Hospital Practices
Medications and Medical Interventions
Postpartum and newborn Care
Includes a tour of the Labor and Delivery and Post Partum Units



All instructors are certified Childbirth Educators. This class is not affiliated with any specific birthing practice (Lamaze, Bradley Method, Hypnobirthing etc). This class covers what to expect prior, during and after your labor and delivery, post partum and baby care.

We provide snacks throughout the day. You will have an hour lunch break, where you may purchase lunch at local restaurants, hospital cafeteria or bring a bag lunch.

Hospital Tour - Florida Hospital for Women

Very excited to be partnering with Florida Hospital and share with you a little series about my Maternity and Delivery journey. This series is all about my experience taking the Hospital Tour, Prenatal Clases, and my actual Labor and Delivery Story.

Starting with the Hospital Tour, I have to say that taking the tour was crucial to me, and so I believe it should be for any expectant parents. There are so many fears when it comes to pregnancy; At least in my experience and what I have heard from other first-time expectant mothers. With that being said, getting informed, familiarizing yourself with the environment, and knowing what to expect are key in order to ease those fears and have a much better experience.





In my case, I solidified my decision of having our baby at the Florida Hospital for Women Orlando right after we took the tour. I loved that I got to experience what the Labor and Delivery environment was like beforehand, which helped me create my Birth Plan/Wishes in advance. Speaking of Birth Plan/Wishes, their Baby Place offers the ability of customizing your Birth/Delivery experience. That is another area I loved about this hospital in particular. The actual process of selecting the amenities and expressing my Birth Wishes was almost like planning an event. This is of course setting the expectation that we can't completely predict/plan how that day will go exactly. However, having an actual plan and being able to express my wishes for this life-changing experience gave me a great peace of mind.





The actual tour is given by one of the birth coordinators from the Baby Place. She starts by explaining what to do and where to go once you are in labor and arrive at the hospital (which is the Triage area). You can also call triage if you are not sure what to do and they can guide you via phone. Then, the tour continues by showing the rest of the hospital facilities; The lobby, the Marketplace, the Labor/Delivery suites, and finally the recovery rooms. The tour itself is very informative. It describes how things might go during the entire process since you arrive at the hospital and all the available options. During the tour you are also allowed to ask as many questions as you wish. They also provide informational materials, a goodie bag, and the actual Birth Wishes form to be filled out.



Overall, I was so pleased with the tour and all the information it provided me and my husband. Once again, I totally recommend taking this tour! It will definitely guide you and provide all the information needed before the big day!
