Olay 28-Day Skin Study at Walmart + New Skincare Routine

As much as I love makeup, skin care always comes first in my beauty routine. My skin is very dry all year round so it needs lots of care and attention. Dry skin also leads to premature skin aging, so having an actual routine is crucial for me in order to prevent it. For that reason, I am always trying new routines and products that satisfy my specific skin needs. Today, I am sharing my before/after results after taking the Olay 28-Day Skin Study at Walmart and using their recommended products.

The Olay 28-Day Skin Study started by using the Olay Skin Advisor Tool. If you are not familiar with this tool yet, the Skin Advisor is Olay’s state-of-the-art mobile site that uses advanced facial analysis to pinpoint what products you need in order to achieve softer, more age-defying skin. This innovative tool analyzes your color, eye lines, wrinkles, and more – giving you an age estimate. Then it gives you specific product recommendations for your skincare needs for you to purchase at Walmart.

After loading the Skin Advisor Tool (skinadvisor.olay.com) on my mobile device, I uploaded a photo of myself without makeup (a selfie). After a few seconds, the tool started analyzing my photo. I then answered a few questions about my skin concerns, current routine, and the analysis completed by giving me my estimated skin age and Olay product recommendations!

The whole process was extremely easy to follow and it takes only a few minutes. My recommended Olay products were the following:

Once I had my product recommendations, I purchased them from Walmart. 

Here is a picture of my skin before starting the study. This picture was taken at the end of the day, after about 6 hours of makeup wear (very very flaky/dry skin as you can see). 

I first apply the Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum and then follow with the Olay Total Effects 7 in One Anti-Aging Moisturizer. Immediately after the first application, my skin felt very refreshed and nourished. Both products got absorbed quickly into my skin and didn't feel greasy at all. I continued doing this routine twice a day (am & pm). 

After about two weeks I started seeing major results! See picture below.

After 28 days, my skin went from dull and flaky, to a beautiful and smooth texture. Just as the product descriptions claimed, both products helped my main skin concern which is dryness and then some! My skin texture feels so much smoother and firm.
