For those who don't know already, my natural hair color is medium-brown. However, one day while I was in my younger years (17 years old), I decided to dye my hair blue black (Pitch black, darkest of the darkest black). Since then, I've adopted the darker side of brunettes and kept coloring my hair black throughout all these years. For this reason I was astonished when I discovered the New John Frieda Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ line at Walmart. If you haven't heard about the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette® products yet you are definitely missing out. This line consists of a Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Shampoo, Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Conditioner, and Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Treatment which infuses color for a deeper shade when using all three products in conjunction.
Both the Visibly Deeper™ Shampoo, and the Visibly Deeper™ Conditioner are formulated with cocoa and evening primrose oil and are safe for use on natural or color-treated hair and for use on highlights & lowlights. They gradually deepen brunette color in the shower. I was so delighted to have found these products because it totally avoids the high price tag that comes with salon visits, and I can still get a gorgeous hair color. This is more than a good enough reason for me to rethink my color process and integrate these products into my beauty routine.
