I finally got matched with the SEPHORA + PANTONE COLOR IQ device!
It is free to do so and it only takes seconds.
This device came up a few weeks ago, and it promises to match your exact skin tone so you don’t wear the wrong color foundation again!
Let me tell you that I am extremely impressed with this device. I was a little skeptical when I heard about it, but it really works!
The device was placed on my forehead, my cheek and my jaw line. After a few seconds the device displayed a number on the screen, and the Sephora lady said “Done, your number match is 3Y08”. With this number you can search the Sephora Database online, or you can ask in-store for pretty much any foundation brand they carry. I asked the lady for the Laura Mercier Silk Crème Foundation (Which I’m totally IN LOVE WITH!) She then matched the 3Y08 IQ number with the Sand Beige color. Once she finished applying the foundation I was in shock! The match was so perfect and beautiful! She advised that some foundations brands do vary in their color range and tones, but with this IQ number I was going to have a VERY close match across all makeup brands. I loved this experience and I totally recommend that you try it too!
